We've been putting on events and parties since 2005 and are proud to be part of the amazing End of the Road Festival each year. We have also been part of such wonderful gatherings as the Secret Garden Party Festival (where we met), the Art Car Boot Fair, The Camden Crawl, Tate Modern's Long Weekend with the House of Fairy Tales, The Mighty Boosh Festival, Lovebox Festival and the Dinefwr Literature Festival. We also staged our own two-day festivals for many years, and hosted the first Paul Foot Festival with comedy and music for the comedian Paul Foot.
We have been joined by amazing acts as diverse as:
Firestations, NO CARS, Thomas Truax, David Cronenberg's Wife, Lail Arad, The Wave Pictures, Stanley Brinks, Misty's Big Adventure, Left With Pictures, Alessi's Ark, Nizlopi, Hafdis Huld, The Bobby McGees, The Real Tuesday Weld and Flipron, with comedy from Tom Bell, Josie Long, Pippa Evans, Joel Dommett and Sarah Bennetto.
As well as regular nights at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, we have also put on Art Bazaars and Recycled Art Parties. We were also part of Rock'n'Roll Cinema, Tom Bell's Dude Patrol with comedy and painting, and were honoured to be involved in album launches for the amazing singers Tallulah Rendall and Gabby Young.
THE STORY OF HUNGAMUNGA
One day in a secret garden Vickle and friends created a magical Playtent where people could make anything they wanted out of bits n' bobs. A stray moondog wandered in looking for friends (and cardboard). When they met it was a meeting of kind red spirits and they thought "we could make the world a brighter place" but then they thought "let's just make a mess!"
